Diagram Steps This work unit is decomposed into the following Work units, Events and Decisions Add content directly in metocube Roles It is possible to create content directly in metoCube in two different ways: 1 Add new elements in the Editor bar "Add element" tab - Enter metoCube and login with editor grants. Click on the Editor bar at the bottom of the page.
- Go to the "Add content" tab
- Go to the "Add content directly in metoCube" section
- Select the element type
- Write the element name and click on the "Submit" button
- You will be taken to the new element page where you can continue editing it (more on
Content edition)
2 Add new elements as children of another element In some situations it is easier (and quicker) to add child elements from their parent page (click here to know more about Child elements). To add child elements to an existing element go to its edit page and click on the "Edit" button of the corresponding field. A multireference control will pop up (see Multireference controls), where you will be able to add new elements.

Creating importable visio diagrams Roles metoCube - Admin The best way to create procedures in metoCube is through MS Visio diagrams import. metoCube is compatible with Microsoft Visio 2003 and newer.
This approach has three steps: 1 Download the metoCube template and draw the diagrams
See Download metoCube visio template and Drawing diagrams 2 Import the diagrams See Import metoCube visio diagrams 3 Describe the elements Navigate through the navigation tree at the left to access the pages of all the elements imported. Creating importable image maps Roles metoCube - Admin It is possible to create from an image map. - Open your image mapping software (if you don't have one you can download one called handy image mapper for free thanks to Silverage Software )
- Create a map specifying the element name in the alt or tooltip field and the element type in the href field
- The map must have the following structure:
<center><IMG src="gif_map name.gif" ALT="map name" USEMAP="#map name" BORDER="0"></center> <MAP NAME="name"> <AREA SHAPE="RECT" COORDS="x,x,x,x" href="element type" ALT="element name"> </MAP>
Import content from Archive Roles It is possible to import archives generated via the "Export content to archive" function on the "Add content" tab of the Editor bar. Archive is generally used as a way to backup metoCube content or to transfer complete models through different metoCube installations.
After importing the archive you must choose an XML file and import it (see Import content from XML). Import content from XML Roles Choose the corresponding file from the picklist and import it.
